What a success!!!

Thank you for your prayers, time, and support for the 40 Days for Life. This was the most successful year we have had yet, and we are excited to beat these numbers next year, too.

Shout out to our volunteer committee for putting on the cookout last Saturday! It was a great success full of prayer, food, and fun.

We are also happy to announce some statistics and stories that we gathered over the course of this vigil:

Participating Churches:  16
Reported Lives Saved in Springfield: 1 (But there could be more unreported)
Average daily participants: 8
Average Thursday Participants: 16

Stories

We really had an impact on our community, too!
Random, generous gifts were given to us by people driving by as we prayed on the sidewalk. Several people pulled into the driveway and dropped off coffee; we received a large donation of Panera Bread pastries, and at other times, we were given doughnuts and doughnut holes.

People are recognizing our efforts and showing us support! We have received countless friendly honks from passersby.

It’s a good reminder that all our efforts have rewards even if we don’t always see them.
